TDB2001 -video installation [JOURNAL FOR PEOPLE ]

As one of the participation programs in Tokyo Designers Block 2001, takagi masakatsu is going to show his latest video works at 'New Tokyo Life Style Roppongi think Zone'(Zone) ( 9 october 2001 open). This space opens as a pre-project of Mori Arts Musium, where will be the most biggest musium in japan (2003 open). 'Zone' is a quite unique space containning "motion floor" (16 projections onto 14m x 18m). Takagi masakatsu will present his latest video works [ JOURNAL FOR PEOPLE ] in this challenging space. He is trying to let people sense " tiny miracles in the daily life", he is looking for on his travels, through his images and sounds. He shows his small video works (JOURNAL) for "peopele living in now" beyond nationality, age, the distinction of sex, a custom, culture. As the images exceeding glass of the bilding, not only with a spectator standing in a floor, but also people living in a city of Roppongi and Toky will be surrounded by his images...
